Tournament director Roger Brennwald declared himself happy with the 42nd edition of the event and confirmed that the tournament will retain its entrepreneurial focus with a new top ten partner concept (à la carte packages) until at least 2016. There are no plans in the medium term to transfer the tournament rights to third parties, nor is this an option. The Swiss Indoors has a strong core team, with its members gaining experience from working at an average of 20 tournaments. Responding to questions from the media about the potential renovation of the St. Jakobshalle, the tournament director said, "The basic layout of the hall is excellent, but modernisation is essential in terms of technology, for instance, or in order to provide improved levels of comfort." Brennwald expressed the hope that this would happen "in this century". The most experienced event organiser in the hall said that he would not be in favour of a new building or any other virtual planning exercises in this matter.
