What are the responsibilities of ball boys and ball girls?
As a ball boy or ball girl, you can experience the spectacular skills of world-class players up close! Ball boys and ball girls retrieve, hold and feed balls, facilitating gameplay for the players.
What is required of me?
Ball boys and girls should be between the ages of 11 and 16, 5'5" or shorter and athletic.The ability to concentrate, quick thinking, agility and skill, love of tennis, reliability and team spirit are the characteristics of a great ball boy or ball girl.
When and for how long will I be on duty?
One day of training in June and one in October. During the tournament (19 to 27 October 2019). Ball girls and boys must be present for about five hours and will be actively working for three of those.
