Tournament president Roger Brennwald proudly opened the 50th edition of Swiss Indoors in Basel in front of packed stands. Players from 19 countries will be present this week at the longstanding tournament on the Rhine.

Anastacia raised the roof at St. Jakobshalle

Soul star Anastacia gave a powerful performance with the support of the wonderful Christoph Walter Orchestra, and the spectators appreciated the show – she had barely begun her smash hit ‘I’m Outta Love’ before everyone was up out of their seats, dancing, clapping and singing along. It was incredible entertainment!

First-round match with Roger Federer

The nine-time Swiss Indoors champion Roger Federer made short work of his first-round match with a convincing performance against the German qualifier Peter Gojowczyk. Federer’s next match will take place on Wednesday.
