Super Monday – a tribute to Basel and the Next Gen

Super Monday on 20 October 2025 brings together everything Swiss Indoors Basel has to offer: world-class tennis, thrilling moments and a tribute to the host city. The tennis action kicks off at 14:00 on Center Court at St. Jakobshalle: 

• 14:00: Jenson Brooksby (ATP 56, protected ranking) will meet Alexandre Muller (ATP 43) 

• Approx. 16:00: Lorenzo Sonego (ATP 47) will face Alejandro Davidovich Fokina (ATP 20) 

The official opening ceremony will follow at 18:00. This year, it will pay homage to Basel – the city, its people and the many major events that have shaped Basel in 2025. 

The evening will conclude with a duel between two promising young contenders starting at 20:00: the just 18-year-old Swiss Henry Bernet (ATP 479), who is making his debut in the main draw with a wildcard, will face 20-year-old Czech Jakub Mensik (ATP 19). A meeting between two representatives of the Next Gen that Swiss Indoors Basel has been showcasing for years: a stage for the stars of tomorrow.
