ATP Tour 500 – EUR 2.584 million – 24 October to 1 November 2026
Swiss Indoors Basel 2026 will see a Swiss final on Sunday. Henry Bernet and Dominic Stricker defeated the top-seeded Germans Kevin Krawietz and Tim Pütz 6–4, 6–4 in the doubles semi-final and will play for the title. Valentin Vacherot and Jiri Lehecka will face off in the singles final.
Exploit gegen die Favoriten
The 19-year-old from Basel and the 24-year-old from Bern were not intimidated by their big-name opponents. Krawietz has twice won the French Open in doubles, and together with Pütz he was the top seed in Basel. The Swiss duo needed just one hour and five minutes to punch their ticket for the final. Bernet and Stricker entered the tournament on a wild card.
Stricker’s third final in Switzerland
This is the third ATP final on Swiss soil for Stricker. He won the doubles title in Gstaad with Marc-Andrea Hüsler in 2021 and Stan Wawrinka in 2023. Switzerland has been waiting for a Swiss singles champion at Swiss Indoors for seven years – but a home win is within reach in the doubles final on Sunday.
Vacherot and Lehecka
in the singles final
Valentin Vacherot was the first to book a spot in the final, beating favourite Taylor Fritz 7–6 (7–5), 6–3. He will face Jiri Lehecka, who prevailed against Jan-Lennard Struff. Lehecka knocked out two Swiss stars, Stan Wawrinka and Jérôme Kym, on his way to the final in Basel.
