ATP Tour 500 – €2.584 million – 24 October to 1 November 2026
After the first day of qualifying matches at Swiss Indoors Basel 2026, it is now certain that a Swiss player will advance to the main draw. Mika Brunold (ATP 195) and Remy Bertola (ATP 219) won their matches on Saturday at St. Jakobshalle and will meet in the final qualifying round on Sunday. Henry Bernet (ATP 364) was defeated by Daniel Altmaier.
Brunold’s first qualifying victory in Basel
Mika Brunold defeated the third-seeded Portuguese player Jaime Faria (ATP 56) 7–6 (7–4), 7–6 (7–5). The 22-year-old took both sets in the tiebreak. In each of the last three years, his time in Basel ended after the first qualifying round, in 2025 after failing to convert six match points against Reilly Opelka. This time he arrived in Basel fresh off a tournament victory at the Challenger in Roanne the previous week.
