Novak Djokovic crowns the Swiss Indoors

ATP Tour 500 – EUR 2.584 million – 24 October to 1 November 2026

Welcome back, Novak Djokovic
Novak Djokovic returns to Basel after three previous appearances at the Swiss Indoors (2009, 2010 and 2011)! The most successful player in tennis history is thus honouring the Swiss Indoors and Swiss tennis fans with his presence for the fourth time.

The record holder’s extraordinary achievements
Novak Djokovic’s achievements are unparalleled in tennis history: 24 Grand Slam titles; at least three wins at each of the four Grand Slam tournaments; 102 ATP Tour titles in total (most recently at the ATP 500 event in Beijing two weeks ago, following a quarter-final victory over Zverev); 428 weeks as world No. 1; Olympic champion in 2024; Davis Cup winner in 2010; 40 ATP Masters 1000 titles; 7 ATP Finals titles; and eight year-end world No. 1 finishes. He is the only player to have won all nine Masters 1000 tournaments at least twice. He has also received the Laureus World Sportsman of the Year Award five times: in 2012, 2015, 2016, 2019 and 2024.

Djokovic sets his sights on the title
Novak Djokovic still needs valuable ranking points to secure a place at the ATP Finals in Turin. The Serb will therefore arrive in Basel with great ambitions.

More title contenders than ever before
The list of prominent entrants and title contenders now includes none other than Novak Djokovic. His participation rounds off one of the most spectacular player fields in the history of the Swiss Indoors.
